From December 5, 2025, to the end of January 2026, Berlin-based artist Maxi Weimann will be exhibiting her series "Bodies" at the Just Grapes Store. We've selected wines together that will add another exciting dimension to the experience of viewing the artwork.
To kick things off, we have planned a small opening reception where you can experience the artworks in direct combination with the wines.
The works will be available both individually as originals or art prints, as well as in combination with specially selected wines.
Date & Time: Friday, December 5, 2025, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Here's what you can expect: Meet the artist and experience her work paired with selected wines!

More about the artist & the project
Maxi Weimann, born in 1986, works in drawings, paintings, photography, installations, and sound to explore how everyday objects and personal memories are fetishized by us as personal narratives—not sexually, but magically significant. In her collage series “Bodies,” she presents fragmented bodies, ghostlike and anonymized through interventions with scissors. Abstract colors and forms interact with the figures, shifting perspectives of classical visual storytelling and raising questions about the relevance and representation of things that appear important to us.
The proximity, fragmentation, and strangeness of the elements contained within the pictorial space combine to create a call to action: to direct attention to the hidden, which somehow reminds us of something special while simultaneously remaining strangely foreign.
The works are synesthetically linked with carefully selected wines, curated by Jannis Böttger, creating new levels of perception through tasting.
Solidarity Tickets: Because we want to make the event accessible to as many people as possible, we've decided to tier the ticket prices based on solidarity. This way, you can decide what you can afford and enjoy the full synesthetic experience.
