Collection: Georg Lingenfelder

Georg Lingenfelder runs the traditional Lingenfelder winery in the Palatinate region, now in its 14th generation. Over 20 years ago, his father began foregoing herbicides and insecticides, laying the foundation for sustainable viticulture. Georg not only continues this philosophy but goes a step further: his vinification consistently adheres to the principle of naturalness.

In the vineyard, Georg relies on permanently covered rows and completely avoids synthetic interventions. Machinery is used only minimally, and the soils are treated with the utmost care to best express the terroir. His geology studies and the associated expertise inform his soil management and support sustainable practices.

In the cellar, Georg allows the wines to ferment spontaneously, completely foregoing additives such as cultured yeasts, enzymes, or fining agents. The wines are bottled unfiltered, with little or no sulfur, to preserve their originality and the authentic character of the terroir.

The wines are characterized by character, balance, and freshness, clearly standing out from the Palatinate mainstream. Georg Lingenfelder combines tradition with innovative natural winemaking, creating expressive, authentic wines that reflect the uniqueness of the region.
