Elderonora 2022 is a light cider made by combining apple pomace with elderflowers and elderberries. With only 3.0% alcohol by volume, it is a dry, sparkling, and refreshing drink that delights with floral, earthy, and slightly tart notes.
The base is apple pomace, which is infused with an aromatic elderflower tea and fermented again. The resulting beverage is then pressed and macerated with elderberries to create additional depth and an exciting interplay of flavors. During fermentation, Elderonora was bottled directly, creating natural carbonation that gives it a gentle effervescence in the glass.
KLAAR Fruchtfermente is a young, innovative company specializing in the production of modern interpretations of ciders and fruit wines. Founded in Hamburg in 2019, production has taken place at the Kneese fruit manufactory on Lake Schaalsee in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since 2021.
