Despite the challenges of the 2023 vintage, this Riesling presents itself in the glass as light, relaxed, and inviting. While the 2022 vintage received a slight addition of sulfur, the Sankt Peter 2023 was bottled completely without sulfur – further proof of Rita & Rudolf Trossen's dedication and skill in natural winemaking.
The Rita & Rudolf Trossen winery is located in Kinheim-Kindel on the Middle Moselle, a region with a rich winemaking history dating back to the Celts and Romans. The vineyards are characterized by grey and blue weathered slate soils, which impart an invigorating minerality and delicate fruitiness to the wines.
