Collection: 2Naturkinder

The 2Naturkinder winery stands for authentic, handcrafted natural wines from the Franconian region. Run by Melanie and Michael Völker, the winery focuses on biodynamic cultivation, gentle processing, and an uncompromisingly natural approach that is reflected in every drop. The winery's philosophy is based on the conviction that great wine can only arise from a healthy, vibrant ecosystem.

Based in Kitzingen, one of Germany's oldest wine towns, 2Naturkinder cultivates nearly 7 hectares of vineyards. The vines thrive on soils of shell limestone, Keuper marl, and sandstone, which imparts a distinctive minerality and structure to the wines. The grape varieties range from traditional Franconian varieties such as Silvaner and Müller-Thurgau to international grapes like Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

Winemaking is carried out with minimal intervention: spontaneous fermentation, no fining agents, no filtration, and, if anything, only a minimal amount of sulfur. The goal is to create wines that are honest, vibrant, and close to their origin. 2Naturkinder wines are often characterized by an exciting reduction, complex aromas, and an unparalleled drinking pleasure.

Besides classics like the Heimat Silvaner or the Fledermaus, the winery continually develops innovative cuvées that showcase the versatility of the natural wine style. The focus on sustainability and biodiversity shapes not only the work in the vineyards, but also the processing and marketing.

2Naturkinder is among the pioneers of the natural wine movement in Germany and is equally popular with connoisseurs and curious wine lovers. Their wines are an expression of passion, respect for nature, and the desire to showcase the authentic character of their region.

A winery for everyone who loves authentic and honest wines!
