Collection: Alexander Schregel

Alexander Schregel, born in 1996, is one of the most promising young winemakers in the Rheingau region. After studying viticulture in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, he gained valuable experience at wineries such as Weingut Fürst. Alongside his work as operations manager at the renowned Weingut Leitz in Rüdesheim, he passionately dedicates himself to his own wine production.

In 2021, Schregel founded his own winery and has since cultivated around 2 hectares of vineyards in top locations such as the Rüdesheimer Berg Roseneck, Bischofsberg and the Lorcher sites Bodental-Steinberg, Kapellenberg and Schlossberg.

Schregel focuses on natural viticulture with biodynamic principles, without relying on certifications. His wines are spontaneously fermented and primarily aged in stainless steel. He forgoes fining and filtration to preserve the authentic character of the wines.

His Rieslings impress with their individuality, complexity, and high aging potential. He has already received great recognition for his work: The Vinum Wine Guide 2024 named him "Rheingau Discovery of the Year".

With passion, commitment and a clear focus on quality, Alexander Schregel is shaping the wine landscape of the Rheingau in a sustainable way and setting new standards for the next generation of winemakers.
